How to prepare a technical enquiry

A useful quotation starts with useful inputs. Application, dimensions, units and documentation matter as much as the product name.

Describe the application first

Are you replacing a part or planning a new system? Describe the vessel, crane or facility and the intended task. An existing label can provide a starting point for technical review.

State quantities with units

Pieces and metres are different information. State finished length, number of assemblies and connection arrangement separately. Mark unknown dimensions rather than estimating.

Define documentation and delivery

Share the complete standard reference, expected document issuer, delivery location and target date. Current suitability and lead time are confirmed in the quotation.

Explore the relevant product group or share your technical requirements with our team. This is a preparation guide; manufacturer instructions and application-specific review remain essential.
