A maintenance list is more useful when different products and services use consistent information. Combining technical scope and delivery planning helps expose omissions early.
Make each line identifiable
Record equipment/system, existing part reference, description and quantity unit separately. Link any drawing or manufacturer document to the relevant line.
Separate services from product items
Name termination, spooling, installation, inspection and testing separately where required. Provider, site needs and documentation are agreed at quotation.
Keep unknown information visible
Mark open dimensions and references as questions to resolve. Track revisions in the same list as delivery locations and timing develop.
A short enquiry checklist
- Line identification and description
- Quantity and unit
- Related drawing/document
- Service and delivery scope
This guide supports technical communication. It is not site-specific selection, inspection or approval for use; follow relevant manufacturer instructions and competent assessment.
