WLL and MBL: are they the same?

Distinguishing working load from breaking load makes technical communication clearer.

Two different quantities

WLL refers to working load limit; MBL refers to the minimum breaking load stated in the relevant product documentation. They are not interchangeable. Use the complete term and definition in the document.

Avoid a universal ratio

Application, product standard, system geometry and manufacturer instructions affect evaluation. A single conversion factor cannot be assumed for every product.

What to include in an enquiry

Share required operating conditions, load and manufacturer specification separately. Copy label values with their units and mark unknown information.

Explore the relevant product group or share your technical requirements with our team. This is a preparation guide; manufacturer instructions and application-specific review remain essential.
